Below are some "Rasgueo-Rest" user comments. It is great to hear from players who use and enjoy it! "Just wanted to say that in my 26yrs of playing guitar, this is without a doubt one of the most . . . I recieved the Rasqueo-Rest several days ago, Thank you! It has proven to be exactly what I was looking for. It has opened up the tone of my instrument, and more importantly it has made my playing more comfortable and productive. It has taken some "getting used to", but the improvement in my playing is amazing in such a short time! Being a tall player, it has given me control over my guitar, instead of the guitar controlling me. With the Rasqueo-Rest I am no longer restricted by pinched nerves or awkward arm and hand positions. When a guitar doesn't exactly "fit", playing is uncomfortable and limited. I've been playing guitar for 26 years, and I never realized how much energy was wasted by compensating to maintain a correct playing position. . Thank you so much!" "For most players of Selmer style guitars, it's imperative that the arm is able to rest comfortably on the guitar in order to obtain that "swing" rhythm. Your rest has made my guitar completely comfortable, almost like a different instrument! The RR has me "rediscovering" my acoustic guitars, and I'm enjoying styles of music which were previously very difficult for me. Simply can't thank you enough." Best Regards . . . I'm 6'4" tall with long arms and have never been able to get comfortable with my guitar in my lap. My favorite, a Kevin Ryan MGC has a 15 1/4" lower bout and I found myself hunching over and tilting my back to the right...a very uncomfortable and back breaking position. I also struggled in keeping my fingers over the sound hole. They wanted to extend up over the lower part of the fretboard. From the moment I placed your rest on the guitar, my problems were solved. The additional 3" or so that your rest gives me allows me to sit in a natural, back straight position with my fingers falling perfectly over the sound hole. The added bonuses for me (and the reason you probably designed the Rasgueo-Rest) is the comfort of not having the sharp edge of the guitar cut into my arm, as well as the additional tone and volume that I hear with the guitar top vibrating freely. I'd also like to mention that the suction cups apply easily, do not come off when playing and do not mark the Brazilian Rosewood on my Ryan." Thanks so much for a Great Product! . .Timothy |
